What is Good Networking

A free business networking group in Bedford town centre that benefits attendees and a different local charity each month.

Charity of the month

If attendees can afford it, we ask for a voluntary £2 donation on the door towards the charity of the month, directly in to the charity’s collection pot.

The event format

2 hours to mingle with local businesses, with a very short presentation by the charity of the month and the sponsors.

Promote yourself

Bring plenty of business cards and leaflets — and even small samples of what you do. Cake samples are especially welcome!

Sponsor an event

A small cost buys an exclusive exhibition space to let you really showcase your business. It funds the food & drink to keep the event free.

Brunch and go

Drinks & food are provided thanks to the event sponsor, so you can brunch and network before you depart with new connections.

Why attend Good Networking?

Come along to the event to meet like minded business people and make new connections, whilst also supporting a local charity at the same time.

You can network upon arrival whilst we wait for all attendees to arrive. This will be followed by a brief presentation interlude including introduction from the hosts, presentation from the month’s charity of choice, presentations by sponsors and a quick chance for attendees to introduce who they are and the nature of their business.

What charities does your event support?

We support a different charity with every event. As this is a Bedford based networking event we’ve decided to support charities in the local area. We will support charities of all different causes.

What should/can I bring along to promote myself?

Please bring along business cards/leaflets to hand out to other attendees. You can also bring small samples of your work to hand out if you wish. Large presentation based samples such as roller banners or presentations are reserved only for our event sponsors (please contact us if you are interested in being a sponsor).

How do I become a sponsor?

If you would like to be a paid sponsor for the event and have a larger presence to promote your business please contact us via the contact form and we will be in touch go through pricing options with you.

What perks do I get for becoming a sponsor?

If you become a paid sponsor of an event you have a much larger presence to promote your business there. As well as the standard mingle and networking you have the opportunity to have a roller banner/exhibition space and you can give a short presentation including slides during the interlude.

How many sponsors will be at an event?

We look for 2-3 paid sponsors per event and limit them to this number to keep it exclusive and help fund the event. Book yourself early as a sponsor to ensure your spot!

What is provided at the events?

Every event comes with unlimited drinks (teas, coffee, water, juices) and brunch which includes breakfast snacks, nibbles and treats. There will be a mixture of healthy and naughty treats to indulge in, and vegan options are also provided.
